Vintage Double Wedding Ring Gilet

This unique gilet was cut from a handmade, hand-quilted Double Wedding Ring quilt, likely made in the 1930s. The original quilt showcases the artistry of its maker and carries with it the marks of time — areas of worn fabric and a few light age stains that speak to its decades of love and history.

Finished with a hand-sewn binding in soft blue ditsy floral cotton, the gilet is detailed with two side ties on each side, allowing for an adjustable fit and easy layering. Its boxy silhouette makes it versatile and comfortable to wear over t-shirts, blouses, or dresses, giving any outfit a distinct vintage edge.
