Housetop No. 6

This quilt was made using Heather Ross’s Housetop No. 6 quilt kit, showcasing her playful and nostalgic fabric designs. It is constructed from 100% cotton fabric and thread, paired with a luxurious 100% wool batting. The wool adds warmth and lightness as it’s a premium natural material that creates a beautifully lofty and insulating finish.

The quilt was machine pieced, then carefully hand quilted and hand bound over many hours, giving it heirloom quality and timeless character. A hanging sleeve has been sewn onto the back, allowing this quilt to be displayed as a wall piece in addition to everyday use.

Measuring 123 × 161.5 cm and weighing approximately 1000 grams, it’s a versatile size for use as a throw, a child’s quilt, or as textile art for the wall. 

Because of the wool batting, this quilt requires special care.

Care Instructions:

• Machine wash cold, gentle cycle

• Lay flat to dry

• Do not tumble dry (wool batting will shrink/felt)

• Do not iron
